FrieslandCampina supplies consumer products such as dairy-based beverages, infant & toddler nutrition, cheese and desserts in many European countries and in Asia and Africa. Products such as cream and butter are also supplied to professional customers including bakeries and food-service companies. FrieslandCampina also produces ingredients and half-finished products for manufacturers of infant & toddler nutrition, the food industry and the pharmaceutical sector around the world.
The Procurement Intern will be supporting Procurement team in Singapore, and mainly Packaging portfolio.
This role shall report to the Plastic Packaging Category Procurement Managers.
General responsibilities
- Lead procurement reporting and tracking
- Reporting and tracking of : payment terms, savings initiatives etc.
- Lead Tail-end Category Management
- Assist in simple tail-end contracting responsibilities (eg. Contract cleanup, obtain signatories, upload contract to online system)
- Support creation of category strategy and portfolio review
Learning Outcomes
- Training on strategic sourcing framework and tools
- Coaching and mentorship from Category Procurement Manager
- Job shadowing of Category Procurement Manager
- Participation in supplier discussion/ negotiation
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above in any disciplines
- Interest in Procurement, especially on Product Packaging
- Appreciation of Supply Chain, Marketing, Finance, Accounting, Business Law
- Organizing & Planning Skills
- Proactive and dynamic
- Flexible thinking
- Keen on learning/ Curious
- Strong data analytic skills with Excel (macro preferred)
