Job Description

Accountant - 6 Months Maternity Cover Contract (Nov 2022 - Apr 2023)

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist GL Accountant/ Manager for month end closing and preparation for monthly and quarterly HQ reporting including but not limited:

1. General Ledger Functions :

Perform monthly closing activities such as journals and recharge/recovery costs within SAP financial modules.

Preparation of monthly and quarterly standard HQ reports and Profit and Loss, Balance Sheet schedules.

2. Accounts Receivable/Payable Functions:

Perform month ageing report and quarterly AR provision base on HQ guidelines, if any.

Perform monthly inter-company balances and transaction confirmation to ensure both parties agree.

3. Inventory Functions:

Perform monthly inventories forecast by business Units.

4. Any other tasks as may be assigned.

Requirements:

Min Degree Holder in Accountancy, Diploma holders with extensive supervisory experience will also be considered.

At least 2-3 years of general ledger function experiences.

Proficient in SAP FICO module, Microsoft applications such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint presentation skills.

Good working knowledge of IFRS & Singapore Tax Regulations.

Possess good interpersonal, analytical and problem solving skills.

A hands-on person and has an eye for details and is meticulous and an inquiring mind. 

A good team player who is able to work with minimum supervision.

Able to work well under pressure.
