Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Intern to join us. This internship offers hands-on experience in various HR functions, providing a comprehensive understanding of HR operations. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn, highly organized, and capable of handling sensitive information with confidentiality.

Responsibilities
• Coordination and administration (from on-boarding to off-boarding) and updating employee database.
• Gather monthly payroll data like leaves, working hours and employees’ bank account details and coordinating with responsible stakeholders and vendors respectively.
• Assist in preparing employment contracts, certification letters and other HR related letters.
• Prepare HR-related reports as needed.
• Assist in training administration such as collating data, sourcing for training vendors, registering courses for employees and maintaining a database of training records.
• Assist in keeping track of office supplies inventory and reorder, when necessary, work with building management &/or contractors for office facilities maintenance.
• Participate in organizing company events and quarterly virtual employee engagement activities.
• Support other HR projects and initiatives such as group insurance renewal and employee benefits review exercise.
• Support the HR Manager to roll out HR initiatives, policies, and guidelines and assist in HR digitalization and transformation projects.
• Any other work and projects assigned by the HR Manager.


Requirements and skills:

• Currently pursuing a diploma/degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Able to commit to a 6-month internship.
• Full-time interns preferred, part-time interns who can commit to a minimum of 3 days a week are also welcome to apply.
• Attention to detail, good organizational skills, and good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw meaningful insights.
• Demonstrated ability to take initiative, think and problem-solve.
• Working knowledge of HRIS software can be helpful.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools
• Good understanding of full employment cycle
• Basic knowledge of labour legislation
• Good organizational skills
• BSc in Human Resources Management or similar field
