General Reinsurance AG Singapore Branch – Treaty Intern (Non-life)

Your Role

You are a member of the the Asia Pacific Treaty Property & Casualty team supporting various analytical and administrative tasks. 

Your Key Responsibilities 

• Assist in underwriting and pricing property and casualty treaties, which includes proportional and excess of loss business
• Review and verify treaty wordings, terms and conditions
• Maintain and update underwriting files and databases
• Assist in market research and analysis on large property exposures and catastrophe risks
• Assist in developing excel tools to enhance exposure management and reporting
• Provide support on ad-hoc assignments

Your Profile 

• Penultimate or Final Year Degree student in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, or any related quantitative fields
• Able to work full-time during school break and commit to 2-3 days per week during the school semester
• Working knowledge of Excel is a must
• Strong command of English, both written and spoken
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to work independently as well as a strong team player
