Job Scope:
The incumbent will be responsible for end-to-end processing of monthly payroll computation for employees, ensuring accuracy, completeness and timeliness in the payment of salaries in compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.
- End-to-end processing of monthly payroll computation for permanent, part time and overseas employees
- Communicate and address payroll queries and provide information to both employees as well as external parties to ensure data integrity and prompt response within the stipulated timeline
- Update payroll system on new information and review changes and payroll processes that are compliant with relevant regulators and statutory boards
- Assist in monthly, annual and periodic filings of statutory payment submissions
- Support and drive payroll projects to ensure adequate internal controls, drive efficiencies and process improvements as well as timely review of payroll computations
- Provide data support for internal and external payroll audits and local wage surveys
- Coordinate submission of various claim types – NSman make-up pay claim, government-paid leave schemes and grants.
- Processes adhoc payments including commission payments and referral fees
- Ad Hoc general HR & Admin duties (as part of cross-functional career exposure)
Job Requirements:
- Possess a minimum Diploma in Accounting, Human Resources or relevant field
- Minimum of 2 years working experience in similar capacity
- Fresh grads with relevant internship experience can be considered
- Proficient with Microsoft Office or Google Suites, especially Excel
- Familiar with Singapore Employment Laws or MOM guidelines advantageous
- Good in both oral and written communications
- Analytical, savvy with numbers, organized, process-driven, task-focused and have an eye for details
- Must be comfortable working in a fast paced, hands-on, growth-oriented work environment with tight timeline
- Monday - Friday, 10am - 7pm
- As with all Payroll, you are expected to work beyond normal hours and weekends during the monthly payroll closing period
