Global School of Technology and Management (GSTM) are looking for an Account Manager to create long-term, trusting relationships with our student recruitment agents. The Account Manager's role is to oversee a portfolio of student recruitment agents, develop new business from existing agents and actively seek new sales opportunities. He/she will directly report to the Sales and Marketing Director.

Job Description

 Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Develop, manage, and grow key student recruitment agents' account portfolio for the GSTM
  • Account management responsibilities include developing strong and trusted advisor relationships with key student recruitment agents and students.
  • Timely negotiate contracts and close agent agreements to maximise profits.
  • Provides training to student recruitment agents regarding the courses, entry requirement, recruitment process, student visa application information, ICA and MOM rules and regulations in Singapore, etc.
  • Work closely with agents to drive conversion, including review offers, current status and maximise conversion with agents
  • Answer the recruitment agent queries and identify new business opportunities among the existing agents and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing team to identify and grow opportunities and forecast and track key account metrics (e.g., quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)
  • Managing recruitment agents for international students, including coordinating with agents of the confirmed outcome of a student visa, the pre-departure process of students, including student contact, travel plan, course fees payment, medical check-up, SHN and arrival to Singapore, etc.
  • Liaise with cross-functional internal teams (including Academic and Student Support Services and Finance departments) to improve the entire agents' and students' experience (Medical check-ups, ICA appointments for Student Visa, Orientation, Offer Letters & Contracts, etc.)
  • Prepare reports on account status and clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal (e.g., Sales and Marketing Team) and external stakeholders (Agents)
  • Assist with challenging agent/customer requests or issue escalations as needed
  • Other duties or projects, as assigned by the department heads.

 Requirements and skills

  • Relevant work experience as an Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Sales Account Manager, Junior Account Manager, or relevant role may add value to this application.
  • Competency in MS Office (particularly MS Excel)
  • Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs
  • Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time while maintaining sharp attention to detail
  • Effective time management skills and the ability to multitask
  • Professional and proactive work ethic
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation abilities and strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Willing to work on the weekend
  • Fresh graduates with no prior experience are welcome to apply as training will be provided. You must be willing to learn
  • BA/BS degree/ Polytechnic/Diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, Communication, Finance, or relevant field
