Our superstar Sales & Business Development Intern will have the opportunity to work across 4 services (Translation/Interpretation/Training/Event Technology) & drive key support & collaboration topics with the strategic accounts team.

Job Description

25% Sales Support Operations

  1. Respond to inbound enquiries and requests from clients 
  2. Convert opportunities into contracts, Preparing Quotations 
  3. Support customer with delivery information 
  4. Connecting new clients with project management team 
  5. Sharing competitive intelligence and client needs with product developers 
  6. Collect Feedback and drive Improvement agenda

30% Event Operations Support

  1. Project planning & Management (Interpretation/Event Technology) 
  2. Vendor Management 
  3. Service & delivery

45% Marketing & Business Development Activities

Marketing

  1. Conduct Research for new Markets, Industries, Segments & Competitor analysis 
  2. Develop customer experience strategies and build brand loyalty 
  3. Writing copy for marketing collateral & website content 
  4. Champion email & database marketing campaigns 
  5. Drive engagement with chambers of commerce & other partners 

Business Development

  1. Identify sales and services that would appeal to new clients 
  2. Research and collaboratively contact prospects with large potential 
  3. Drive strategy for new Services, new Contacts within existing or new potential key organizations 
  4. Define customer story and next steps for engagement for dormant accounts 
  5. Foster referrals to other markets /customers

Requirements: 

The ideal candidate should have: 

  • Currently Pursuing a Degree in Business Management/Marketing or related fields 
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with customers 
  • Prior experience of managing relationships in a client facing role would be ideal  
  • The ability to think out of the box, problem-solving skills, and a sense of wit 
  • An organized approach to drafting out next steps, strategies & Excellent market analysis abilities 
  • Result- orientation; high focus on driving (business) results and KPIs  
  • Passion & Interest in language services or events/MICE industry  
  • Attention to detail 
  • Able to commit to at least 3-4 months (Full time) to the internship
