Glorious State is a boutique interior design firm: https://www.gloriousstate.com and we provide interior design services to both residential and commercial clients. We also have a social media profile called: https://www.instagram.com/glorious.state/. We are currently looking for interns to fill the position of "Interior Design and Social Media Intern".
As Interior Design and Social Media Intern at Glorious State, you'll be responsible for assisting the day to day duties of an interior designer. You will also be working in the social media space, crafting and executing full-funnel campaigns across social media. You’ll play a crucial role in client relationship management and building brand awareness on a large scale.
What you’ll be doing:
- Assist with all aspects of interior design work
- This will include attending on and off site client meetings, obtaining an agreed verbal client brief with a clearly defined budget
- Work with suppliers of products and services under the guidance of Interior Designer to reach a design solution
- Visit product supplier’s showrooms to obtain samples of tiles, fabrics etc to create a colour scheme- Preparing draft client reports, specifying colours, fabrics, furniture and furnishings and preparing presentation packages for clients
- Drawing Sketch Plans of houses to show colour scheme to clients and sketch plans to show roomlayouts and meeting with clients to show plans
- Assist Interior Designer to manage and co-ordinate project on site
- Take photographs of completed job for client file, stock inventory and promotional purposes
Other general duties:
- All our employees are required to respond in a timely manner to client communication and to undertake the following tasks to ensure a high level of customer service
- Action mail as appropriate
- Check e-mails daily and reply or forward as appropriate
- Meet and greet visiting clients in the office if no one is present, offer refreshments as appropriate
- Catalogue, store and archive all photographs taken from jobs in conjunction with senior employees
Social media management:
You will also be responsible for assisting with social media management. This will include:
- Content Strategy & Creation
- Develop and implement a comprehensive content strategy aligned with company goals and target audience need
- Create, curate, and manage engaging content across various platforms, including blog posts, socialmedia updates, infographics, and video
- Monitor social media channels for trends, feedback, and opportunities for engagement
