Job Description

Position Overview: We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Interior Design Intern to join our team.

This internship provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of interior design, working closely with senior designers and contributing to various stages of design projects. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for design, a strong understanding of design principles, and an eagerness to learn and grow in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in creating mood boards, color palettes, and design concepts for client projects.
  • Conduct research on materials, furniture, fixtures, and finishes. 
  • Assist with space planning, layout designs, and the creation of design presentations.
  • Prepare and maintain design documentation, including project files, drawings, and specifications. 
  • Help with sourcing and procuring materials, furniture, and accessories.
  • Support site visits and assist in the coordination of project installations.
  • Collaborate with the design team to ensure projects meet client specifications, budget, and timelines.
  • Contribute to client meetings by preparing presentation materials and providing creative input.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and design innovations.

Qualifications: 

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator,InDesign), and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • A portfolio showcasing your design work is a plus.Prior internship or work experience in interior design (preferred but not required).
