Job Description
- This full-time freelancer role will consist of assisting the marketing team in promoting our sightseeing brand and products to audiences located in South Korea.
- He/she possesses an understanding and interest in the cultural nuances and audiences of the Korean market.
- Fluency in written Korean is mandatory and required.
- This role will translate website content and daily changes and updates from English to Korean
- Websites include gocity.com, londonpass.com, newyorkpass.com and parispass.com
- He/she may sometimes need to draft long form blog or short form social media posts for Naver blog, Kakao Story and on other Korean social media platforms.
- This person will also have the opportunity to learn other aspects of digital marketing to enhance their internship experience
- Able to write, translate and proofread good marketing copy for native audiences in South Korea
- Able to converse and communicate efficiently in English
Experiences Required
- At least 2+ years’ experience in a digital copywriting, editorial, or marketing communications related role
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in journalism, copywriting or Korean language.
- Copywriting or proofreading certification from an accredited institution
- Working experience in any of the following: print media owner (newspapers, magazines) digital media owner (online news portals, publications, magazines) digital agency, travel brand
- Detail-oriented in every aspect with a razor-sharp ability to spot grammatical errors and make corrections
- Technically skilled on Naver, Facebook, Instagram, Drupal, Magnolia amongst other social media and CMS platforms
- Experience producing creative, engaging editorial content for social media platforms and multiple audiences
- Solid project management and organizational skills
- Energy and passion for new experiences. We love sightseeing, you should too!
- Excellent interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
