Job Description

The Goat Agency is the global leading influencer marketing agency. We have a fantastic culture with a collaborative environment where everyone pitches in and has the chance to excel.

 

We’re growing our capabilities here in Asia and we are looking for a Social Media Manager to join us and work with some of the biggest consumer brands in the world. You have a good understanding of the current trends on social in both Singapore and Malaysia and are able to strategize and execute always-on content to large scale regional campaigns. Alongside with the Account Manager, you will work directly with our clients and be involved in strategy, content planning, posting and maintaining their social media accounts specifically on Instagram. This is a role that is required only twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays. 

 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Ideate and create content that engages social communities and develops interactive relationships between our clients and their community, using their own creative skills and having access to our in-house design team where necessary. 8 posts a month (4 brand assets and 4 to be designed), plus 8 Instagram Stories

  • Help to define and strategise social media content plans across our client’s social channels. Always working towards client goals and objectives through solid execution of plans that result in measurable results. 

  • Manage posting schedules (twice a week, on Instagram)

  • Be the positive, friendly and professional voice of the brand across all social media channels. 

  • Able to write in varying styles for social posts and captioning

  • Understand the use of appropriate hashtags

  • Conduct regular competitor research to ensure the brand's social media strategy remains ahead of the competitive set, tracking social media metrics, and being able to provide insights and monthly / quarterly reports 

Requires skills and experience to apply:

  • Preferably 3+ years’ experience in a similar role

  • Has experience of growing social accounts 

  • Experience in client management and in client facing roles

  • Highly proficient in spoken and written English is compulsory; being able to write in Malay language would be advantageous

  • A passion for, and good knowledge of, beauty and lifestyle culture is advantageous

  • Organized and efficient in time management, as well as meeting deadlines

  • Must be proficient in photo editing software/applications

  • Ideally proficient in Adobe Creative Software (Photoshop etc.) and basic video editing

  • Whilst there will be a support network in place for you, this is an autonomous, fast-paced and varied role that may require multitasking

  • Strong understanding of platform niches and variety of content required for each
