Job Description

Merchant Acquisition Specialist

Responsibilities:

  • Acquire merchants for ecommerce travel platform and for advertisements
  • Develop new travel partners for www.gobudgetair.com
  • Implement business strategies for travel kiosks
  • Raise awareness and generate transaction volume from partners
  • Responsible for establishing, maintaining and expanding good working relationships with merchants and partners
  • Develop and manage a framework for communication of marketing activities promptly
  • Manage bookings and consumer enquiries
  • Gather market feedback and insights to continuously improve content and consumer experience

 Requirements:

  • 3 to 6 years experience in business or partnership development, experience in online sales of consumer products and services is advantageous
  • Strong interpersonal skills and strong written and verbal communications skills in English & Chinese. Conversant in Malay is advantageous
  • High moral standards, honesty and an ethical approach to doing business
  • Strong initiative and the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
  • Time management skills, self-driven, resourceful and results oriented
  • Resilient to knock backs, drive and determination to succeed
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Minimum Diploma and above
