The Role: Sales Lead Generation Intern
We are seeking a dynamic and self-motivated Sales Lead Generation Intern to join our team for a 3-month internship. The primary responsibility of the intern will be to identify potential sales leads by combing through LinkedIn and other social media platforms. Additionally, the intern will be responsible for making the first contact with potential clients who are seeking event spaces. This internship provides a unique opportunity to gain valuable experience in lead generation, client communication, and event planning.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize data mining techniques to identify and extract potential sales leads from LinkedIn and other social media platforms.
- Research and analyze prospects' profiles to determine their interest and relevance to our event spaces.
- Maintain a database of potential clients, including their contact information and preferences.
- Conduct initial outreach to potential clients via email or social media messaging to introduce our event spaces and services.
- Engage in professional communication with prospects, answering their inquiries and providing necessary information if required.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to align lead generation strategies with business objectives.
- Continuously track and report the progress of lead generation activities to sales team.
Qualifications:
- Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Business, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- Strong interest in sales, lead generation, and client communication.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to engage with potential clients effectively.
- Familiarity with LinkedIn and other social media platforms as tools for lead identification.
- Basic understanding of event planning and the hospitality industry is advantageous.
- Self-driven, proactive, and able to work independently as well as within a team.
- Attention to detail and ability to organize and manage lead data efficiently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
