GoodHood.SG is a social enterprise that aims to bring back the kampung spirit. During the early phases of COVID-19, we’ve successfully bridged over 600 neighbours in need with neighbours who care, resulting in 15 media mentions so far, including 8 on Straits Times.

We are looking for individuals who are passionate about community building and hold similar values of finding meaning in giving back to society, as well as helping vulnerable members of our neighbourhoods.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and support community-building initiatives to encourage and cultivate participation within the GoodHood community
- Source for volunteers to help with community-building on GoodHood
- Source and engage community leaders (people active in their respective communities) for partnerships
- Lead and manage volunteers’ community-building work and keep them updated on our projects and initiatives
- Generate engaging neighbourhood centric content
- Work closely with the tech and marketing team to suggest and support features and initiatives to increase activity in GoodHood
We are seeking for ideal candidates who are interested in/have prior experience in:
- Community building, engagement and social volunteer work
- Digital community building and engagement (e.g. managed an active Facebook group)
- Experience in leading a large team or group
You should also be:
- Someone with good interpersonal skills and a desire to serve people
- Flexible and willing to try new things
- Responsible and resourceful
- Comfortable with working remotely
- Singapore Citizen/PR
Internship period:
- Minimum 5 months long
- Part-time/full-time
- Immediate start/January 2021 to May 2021
