Great Eastern – Sports Scholarship – Finance

This scholarship is designed to honor excellence in sports and give our athletes opportunities in the financial services sector. 

Through the internship program, athletes will be able to get exposure for the following:

1. Concepts in business management & principles of entrepreneurship
2. Learning the concepts in wealth & risk management
3. In-depth exposure to the financial services industry
4. Comprehensive insights into the financial advisory process and sales cycle
5. The opportunity to acquire useful financial planning knowledge & experience practical financial skills
6. Cultivate entrepreneurship spirit and relevant techniques for practical application
7. A platform to explore the career options in this dynamic industry

Eligibility Criteria: Applicants must,

• Be Singapore Citizens or Singapore PR·
• Have strong leadership qualities and potential·
• Have good co-curricular activities record, particularly in sports
• Possess minimally local polytechnic diploma or equivalent qualifications 

Scholarship Benefits

• S$2,500 allowance
• Selected candidates will be given the opportunity to receive a continuous scholarship for up to 18 months
• Scholarship is bond-free
