Project Engineer ACMV Project ( $2.8k - $3.4k)

 Roles & Responsibilities

• Review project plans and specifications to ensure that the ACMV system design meets the required standards, codes and regulations
• Select the appropriate ACMV equipment, materials, and component that meets the project requirements.
• Supervise, Monitor and inspect the works progress on ACMV system – air duct, chilled water pipe and equipment installation.
• Familiar with ASTM, different Piping Standards and Specifications.
• Familiar with ASME Section IX, Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code 2021 Edition welding requirements.
• Check site installation work as per approved drawings
• Understand and able to prepare the standard detail drawing to suit the respective project & shop drawings
• Able to use AutoCAD or Revit is an added value.
• Check and follow up closely the daily site installation progress and able to take immediate action to tackle the delay.
• Able to liaise with different vendors and sub-contractors for different types of materials to be proposed and submit for approval and subsequently procure them upon approved.
• Able to understand the minor equipment take off from the shop drawings and procure accordingly.
• Assist Project Manager to oversee overall project progress, manpower and monitor project schedule
• Knowledge and hands on of writing MOS and RA for the different job scopes.
• Having experiences in air and hydro testing, adjusting and balancing activities.

• M&E Drawing (AutoCAD and Revit)
• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project and PowerPoint)

Educations Requirements

• Diploma/ Degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
• Minimum 2 to 3 years working experience in related field. Willing to learn attitude and work diligently is important.
• Prefer self-motivated, proactive and good interaction and interpersonal skills.
