Job Description

As a Green Nudge Intern, your primary roles include:

  • Helping out in the implementation and execution of ongoing events, including but not limited to cleanups, workshops, trails and events, with varying roles such as taking charge of logistics, equipment or timelines

  • Assisting in brainstorming, curating and executing events, campaigns and workshops;

  • Handling sales and partnership enquiries; 

  • Coordinating competitive and market research about the environmental landscape locally and regionally; and

  • Assisting in existing marketing campaigns, email campaigns, promotions.

 

In addition, as part of a green startup, you will be exposed to a wide range of tasks including:

  • Facilitating cleanups, workshops, trails and other activities for clients (i.e. corporates, schools, and other community stakeholders);

  • Preparing for and attending meetings with stakeholders in the public, private and people sectors;

  • Developing expertise in sustainability practices and behavioural science; and

  • Supporting any other related and ad-hoc projects/events.

 

Minimum Requirements

We’re looking for someone who isn’t just passionate about the environment, but:

  • is keen to dip your toes in multiple areas to learn about the different aspects of a green startup;

  • has excellent interpersonal and communication skills;

  • is comfortable with researching broad topics and good at presentations;

  • is adept at collecting data and analysing to spot trends and patterns;

  • takes pride in their work with a can-do spirit;

  • is able to work independently and in a team

  • takes initiative to work out things yourself;

  • is curious and unafraid to ask questions;

  • doesn’t mind working in both indoors and outdoors;

  • is comfortable with working on certain weekends to assist in events;

  • is able to commit for at least 3 months

 

Bonus points if you…

  • Are able to take up a full-time role

  • Are studying/have studied Environmental Science
