Job Description
The Content Strategist at GRVTY Media plays a pivotal role in developing varied and diverse stories that inspire and excite. You know great content when you see it, and have a flair for driving impactful narratives through a compelling storyline. You will be responsible for developing the content strategy across our online assets, including research and brainstorming of new content angles and topics, from concept right up to video production. The role reports to the Head of Content Strategy.
Responsibilities
- Identify storytelling opportunities and pitch ideas for both organic and sponsored content
- Coordinate and schedule interviews and pre-production meetings with the internal team and external profiles, including talents and key opinion leaders
- Research, fact-check and draft scripts, as well as creating proposals and presentation materials for pitches
- Assist the production team during filming and to ensure alignment with the content plan
- Community moderation across our social media platforms
Requirements
Favours creative thinking and exploring beyond the OB markers
Meticulous and efficient in research with a keen eye for the obscure details
Able to understand, digest and crystalize the content strategy
Deep interest in various topics including current affairs, lifestyle, sociopolitical, people and culture in Singapore
Fluent in the use of digital and social media platforms (Youtube, Facebook, Tiktok), including any policy changes
Works well in a fast paced environment
Experience in content creation is a plus
