Intern - Production Improvement (Ref: 358353)
What will you do?
- Production Improvement Project
- Optimization of Distillation column efficiency study and waste water treatment plant
- Continuous improvement project for operating cost reduction,. Evaluate improvements on gas stripping and heating systems. Intern will be empowered to be part of Chemical Engineer's responsibility, Propose improvements to ensure a synchronized maximal throughput
- Monitoring of Distillation Column critical processing parameters using heat and mass balance; Review of batch records / log sheets. Involvement in troubleshooting, continuous improvement projects and investigations.
- Attain understanding of cGMP and EHS requirements in pharmaceutical and chemical industries and other technical aspects in this field
- Optimization of Advanced Oxidation Process (AOP) for pharmaceutical waste water treatment
- Synchronization of dry-end equipment throughput
- Study crystallization, filtering, and drying operations' performance and propose improvements to ensure a synchronized maximal throughput
- Detailed on-job-training on Manufacturing Process
- Guided study of the design and performance of crystallization, filtering, drying, powder transfer and blending operations
- Opportunity to undertake operation duties and work closely with cross-functional team of engineers and chemists
- Good understanding of cGMP and EHS requirements in pharmaceutical and chemical industry
What are we looking for?
- Educational background – Undergraduate studying Bachelor in Chemical Engineering who is interested in learning more about a manufacturing environment and vaccines
- Strong written and oral communications skills
- Excellent English proficiency
- A keen interest in production
- Meticulous, organized, and dedicated
- Apply his/her knowledge of engineering and learn soft skills in engaging different stake holders to deliver a project.
