Job Description

This is a position as a copywriter in the Production function in GUTTZ Singapore. As a copywriter, your role is in developing content that aligns and effectively communicates a concept based on a marketing campaign, design or project.This requires your skill to express simply what an idea is about through words.. There are guidelines and methodology designed to guide you to deliver such a solution in the works we do for our clients.

Does this relate well to you? As a Copywriter, your responsibility is in bringing out the best of the works through the use of words, according to their theme, industry, product or service, & requirements, in ways that are attractive to read & easy to understand for them to take action for your audiences. You will work closely with Marketers to develop communication to your audiences, in the forms of print, web and digital. You’ll have fun engaging crowds and making them take action one way or another.


Key Responsibilities:


Content Creation

Research: Finding more information about the project, and understand the context of what should be communicated to the audience. Ask what is important and who is the audience?

Conceptualizing: Coming up with ideas to capture the essence of the message. Ask how best to communicate the concept to the audience.

Planning: Prioritize which points you will want to put across, and in which style that gives the writing a different tone and edge. How do you want to tell your message?

Writing: Writing the Copy based on the above information. Ask how will your content flow and feel to your audience? What is the impact the audience based on the way you write?


Copyediting

Aligning: Align the content according to the priorities of the project requirements. Ask how can we make the content flow smoothly with the rest of the project elements? Does it flow well with the design? The look and feel? The object of importance and priorities of the project? How do we align all these better?

Proofing: Considering key aspects of the content in its consistency and quality. Ask how can I raise the quality of writing? Are Grammar, Language, Tense, Tone and Style all aligned and accurate?


Overall

  • Ensure the successful execution of these Processes by utilizing marketing guidelines.

  • Ensure adherence to all company & corporate communications policies and protocols.

  • Establish and develop relationships with Clients & GUTTZ Team.

  • Familiarizing oneself with the stakeholders of the projects.



Requirements: 

  • Background in Communications, Language, Marketing, or Related Fields

  • Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint

  • Outgoing with pleasant personality

  • Result Driven
