Job Description

Programme Coordinator (Intern): 6 Months Contract


The Programme Coordinator (Intern) for overseas programmes plays a crucial role in the smooth operation of our Programmes Department. As the primary administrator, you will be responsible for overseeing administrative tasks, safeguarding vital data and information, and representing the organisation as the key liaison in coordinating Batam Build and Global Village projects with volunteers and corporate partners.

Your duties will also include assisting the organisation in complex operation and undertaking ad-hoc tasks as needed, which may occasionally require working outside of standard business hours.

This is a 6 months contract with training provided. 

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the main point of contact for corporate donors and volunteers.
  • Manage different teams simultaneously.
  • Ensure timely updates on Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and other internal systems to facilitate data extraction and reporting.
  • Manage digital document organisation.
  • Manage report submissions to regional and international counterparts.
  • Manage end-to-end volunteers: Manage enquiries on available projects; Schedule various volunteer programme sessions, and conduct team briefing/presentation; Manage and prepare internal documents, invoices and receipts; Compile feedback to improve internal processes; Able to manage emergency case

 Competencies:

  • A detailed-oriented and efficient multi-tasker who is also organised and resourceful.
  • Adaptable team player, able to work independently or collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and cultural sensitivity.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook).
  • Effective written communication skills.
  • Preferably able to speak Indonesian to communicate with counterparts from Indonesia.
