Hai Sia, translated from Teochew, means the sound of the sea. From her humble beginnings in 1976 as a hawker stall at Mei Ling Street, Hai Sia has grown to be a familiar establishment at Jurong Fishery Port. Job Description
- Gain first-hand insights into how Hai Sia transforms itself amidst its existing wave of explosive transformation initiatives including the implementation of several new IT systems and the transformation of various internal policies and procedures
- Be involved in high-impact projects and assignments, ranging from research to market analysis, charting of process flowcharts, to report writing to vendor engagement
- Enjoy professional and personal development through close engagement with the Senior Management team including the Head of Finance and CEO
Who Should Apply?
- Internships are open to Singaporean undergraduates across all academic disciplines, especially those in the Accountancy, Business, and/or Engineering disciplines
- Interns are encouraged to spend at least 12 weeks with us for a more purposeful experience
- Candidate must be a pro-active, independent and meticulous
- Comfortable with working in a dynamic environment and implementing changes.
- Highly analytical and motivated individual with a good work ethic
- University undergraduates and postgraduates can intern with us during summer vacation or professional attachment periods
