ABOUT THE ROLE
The Gift Assistant will join our Gift Operations Team who is in charge of putting together our gift boxes with love! We welcome anyone from all walks of life, who are ready to get their hands dirty behind the scene to deliver cheers and happiness.
– Usual working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30am to approx 2pm (might extend to later based on workload for selected days).
– Must be able to work during the Chinese New Year & Valentine’s Day period (11, 13, 14 Feb 2021).
– Minimum commitment: ASAP/1 Feb – 26 Feb 2021 (can be extended upon discussion).
RESPONSIBILITIES:
– Pack gift items into different types of gift boxes according to internal standards
– Write messages on greeting cards (neat handwriting required)
– Assist with receiving stocks from incoming deliveries
– Ensure gifting materials are prepared in advance for next-day operations (ribbons, gift boxes etc)
– Ensure work stations and tools are organised and cleaned properly at the end of each working day
– Work with other team members to ensure organised work flow
– Assist with labelling and tagging of orders for daily dispatch of deliveries and/or other tasks, when needed
REQUIREMENTS:
– A love for gifting, and making people happy!
– A strong sense of urgency, responsibility, focus & discipline
– Ready to get your hands dirty and get things done
– No prior experience in gifting necessary
– Comfortable working independently, and as part of a (very small!) team
– Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment
