Job Description

We are looking for interns to support our Business Development/Social Media Marketing activities. Be a part of a dynamic company with a casual work environment that values productivity over propriety. This position is especially suitable for candidates looking to expand their portfolios, as branching out is very much encouraged. You will be given the opportunity to try on different hats, and pick up new skills in the process. Those who show great initiative and willingness to learn will thrive as they will be given many opportunities to express their ideas and take charge of projects. 

There won't be much handholding in this company- you will be given a lot of freedom to create and innovate, but at the same time, you must also possess strong time management skills and be able to work independently.

If you are a goal-oriented person who is as keen to learn as you are to contribute, then this job is for you. Fresh graduates who don’t enjoy being mollycoddled are welcome to apply.

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist in the following areas (not limited nor restricted to):

-Copywriting for speeches, presentations, performances or training materials with visual/graphic communication applications

-Website content management (WordPress platform)

-Social media platforms management 

-generating original content for the blog and other platforms when needed

-Breath life into old/existing articles and repurpose them for relevancy and clarity

-Assist in production and dissemination of email newsletters

-Optimise potential of all forms of social media (increase in engagement and following of Instagram and FB through content, SEO, FB business options) 

-Track and analyse website traffic flow and provide regular internal reports.

-Formulate social and digital marketing strategies to help meet business and marketing goals and objectives

-Assist in filming and photoshoots (promotional materials)

-Front-of-house, events & outreach management

Apprentice will also be involved in the possible areas (organised by or partnered with the organisation) depending on the period the apprentice is attached to the organisation:

-Events management  (students could possibly work on medium-scale film-related or theatre-related events)

-Acting workshops, readings, networking events, film screening events

-Attachment to film productions

Working hours

Weekdays, 11am-7pm (off-in-lieu given if required to work during weekends)

Pre-requisites:

-All students in any specialisations could apply, but communications, and marketing majors are preferred.

-Apprentice should possess and is comfortable to bring own laptop (Mac preferably) during the apprenticeship.

-Apprentice should possess photo and video editing skills

-Experience with video content creation is a plus

-The apprentice should agree to an interview before the internship is formalised.

-Apprentice who enjoys writing or copywriting is preferred but not compulsory.
