Job Description
We are looking for someone who is passionate about making a difference through their writing. You will be in charge of writing articles about all things digital, design and career-related, delivered on a 1 article/week basis. You will succeed in the role if you have strong attention to detail and can be relied upon to deliver under pressure and deadline.
Roles & Responsibilities
1) To regularly source new content ideas, research and write long-form (guides, instructional), medium-form (blog posts, listicles, email marketing), and short-form (website copy, headlines) content
2) Work closely with the analytics and social media teams to develop an effective content strategy that drives marketing outcomes
3) Have good journalistic instinct – to stay abreast with content trends and understand the ethics behind what makes writing reliable
Learning Opportunities
1) Understand how to write compelling SEO-centric articles that target audiences can relate to (using keywords, hyperlinks, meta-content, etc.)
2) How to repackage and repurpose articles into more accessible forms of content over different channels
3) Ensure that writing style is clear, consistent and refreshing for different groups of target audiences in the local context

Qualifications and work experience are relevant but are not exclusive proxies of capability. In shortlisting our candidates, we also look at instances of past work and evidence of a “can-do” attitude - we sometimes take a short call with candidates first to get to know them better before deciding whether to proceed with an interview.
For internship positions, we are looking for students from local Institutes of Higher Learning who are able to commit for a minimum of 5 months. This includes students who are looking to fulfil internship requirements or have plans to take a Leave of Absence.
