Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated, dynamic and talented intern to assist our M&A manager:


Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist on the evaluation and execution of M&A and other investment opportunities, including:
1. Performing valuation and returns analyses
2. Oversight of transaction due diligence, including planning due diligence work streams and management of transaction advisors
3. Preparation of investment memos for transaction approval from the investment committee
- Support other corporate development activity, including:
1. Analysis of industry trends, competitive threats, expansion opportunities and internal performance to support C-level decision making
2. Supporting management on other business development opportunities
3. Preparing internal templates and processes


Requirements:
• Background in Economics, Business, Finance from an accredited university
• Prior experience in investment banking, M&A advisory, PE or in-house M&A / corporate development is preferred
• Excellent analytical and quantitative skills, able to multitask
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, solid research skills, and the ability to work well in a team environment and/or independently
• Initiative – must be a self-starter, able to work independently with drive and motivation
• Positive personality, intelligence and sense of humor
• Highest standards of personal conduct, professional performance and business ethics
