HCA Hospice Limited – Events & Brand Activation Intern

Are you passionate about communications, event planning, and making a meaningful impact in the non-profit sector? Join us for an exciting internship opportunity where you will receive hands-on training and mentorship in event planning and enhancing brand experience.

Key duties depending on skillset:

• Events and logistics management (core duty);
• Curation of user experience at events to enhance brand loyalty; 
• Visual design for event collaterals and other necessities;
• Media production – photography and video production;
• All other tasks as assigned.

What you can expect to learn:

• Gain a better understanding of the functions and responsibilities of a corporate communication team;
• Gain insights to the functionalities and considerations behind event planning and management;
• Get a glimpse into what hospice and palliative care entails and greater appreciation for this meaningful, yet often side-lined subject;
• General understanding of the non-profit/social service landscape and the unique challenges and considerations that come with it

Job requirements:

• Able to commit from January 2024 to February 2024
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Team player and willingness to learn
• Comfortable with working on some weekends when there are events
• Priority given to students who are able to commit to a 5-day work week.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office - PowerPoint, Excel, Word
