Position Summary
As a Marketing Intern, the individual needs to support our social media efforts and help us build an engaging online presence. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in digital marketing, content creation, and social media strategy. You’ll collaborate closely with our marketing team to create content, track social media performance, and contribute to overall brand growth.
Responsibilities
Content Creation: Assist in the creation of engaging social media content (text, images, videos, infographics) for various platforms ( Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.).
Offline Marketing: Assist in offline marketing engagements and partnership management (collaborate with partners that can add value to HUFT).
Social Media Management: Help schedule and publish posts across social media platforms, ensuring consistency and alignment with the overall marketing strategy.
Analytics & Reporting: Track, monitor, and report on key social media metrics (engagement, reach, impressions, etc.), and help optimize campaigns based on performance data.
Community Engagement: Respond to comments, messages, and interactions on social media platforms, fostering positive relationships with followers.
Campaign Planning: Keep up-to-date with social media trends, industry news, and competitor activity to suggest new ideas for posts or campaigns. Assist in planning and executing paid social media campaigns, including setting up ads, targeting, and reporting on campaign success.
Work closely with the marketing team to ensure social media efforts are integrated into broader marketing campaigns.
Qualifications, Skills and Competencies
Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
Strong interest in social media marketing and digital trends.
Basic knowledge of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, TikTok, etc.) and digital marketing strategies.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Basic graphic design skills (e.g., Canva, Adobe Photoshop) or willingness to learn is a plus.
Creative, detail-oriented, and proactive with the ability to work independently.
Bonus
Familiarity with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social) and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook Insights).
