Responsibilities

As our Business Development Intern / Entrepreneur in Residence (Intern), you tackle the challenges of scaling up our new business and strategically planning its expansion. You gain an inside perspective on internet ventures and build up deep functional expertise. You will be placed in a team of very motivated and talented A-players who are driving our business forward. Our Business Development / Entrepreneur in Residence Internship is a unique opportunity to learn, experience and join a first-class team. 

At Helpling, no two days are the same. The following tasks will be part of your new role:

• You work on scaling up the Home Care business in Singapore
• You research new market opportunities and act as a consultant to the management
• You take ownership of key projects to explore opportunities, build partnerships, and add value to the business
• You will work with the management team directly and learn how to run a growth-stage business

The Ideal Candidate

• You have an entrepreneurial mindset and ideally at least 3 months of full-time/internship experience in Tier-1 startups
• You are ambitious and keen on working in a high-performance environment
• You have a proven track record of getting things done. 
• You have a hands-on mentality and can prioritize your tasks effectively and efficiently
• You are comfortable with Excel and data analysis
• You are a highly energetic, self-motivated and results-driven person who takes full ownership of your responsibilities
• Preferred experience as a caregiver, providing you with a solid understanding of the business
