Job Description
Finance Executive (Part-time)
We are actively seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Part-Time Finance Executive to become a valuable addition to our team. In this role, you will take charge of diverse financial tasks on a part-time basis, contributing to the financial success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the full set of accounts to ensure timely month-end closing.
- Independently handle General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR), while supervising receivables, payables, and stock control.
- Report and file GST returns in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Perform tax computations for annual submission purposes.
- Enforce and implement financial procedures and policies.
- Take charge of accounts by contracts, performing tasks such as AR, AP, accruals and General Ledger maintenance.
- Participate in monthly closing reports, including Revenue reports and AR Ageing reports, and assist in Internal and External Audits.
- Process ad-hoc miscellaneous payments, including staff expenses reimbursement claims, temporary staff salaries, and resigned staff salary payments.
- Undertake any other duties assigned from time to time
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Proven experience in handling full sets of accounts and financial reporting.
- Familiarity with GST regulations and tax computations.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to enforce and implement financial procedures.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and take on ad-hoc tasks as needed.
