Helpling Singapore – Sales and Marketing Intern

As our Sales and Marketing Intern, you tackle the challenges of launching new services and strategically planning its expansion. You will gain an inside perspective on internet ventures and will be given the opportunity to build up deep functional expertise. You will be placed in a team of very motivated and talented A-players who are driving our business forward. Our Business Development internship is a unique opportunity to learn, experience and join a first-class team.

At Helpling, no two days are the same. The following tasks will be part of your new role:

1. You work on scaling up the Helpling business in Singapore, exposing yourself to key aspects of the business - mainly Business Development and Marketing.

2. To establish and maintain frameworks to scale up our existing services. 

3. Collaborate with internal stakeholders and identify strategic partners and key suppliers.

4. Launch new Home Services on the Helpling App

The Ideal Candidate looks like this: 

1. You don't accept the status quo. There will always be a better way of doing things, and you have the motivation to constantly look for a better solution. You do not stop at following the SOP and you are able to take a step back and decide if the situation calls for a deviation from what is standard.

2. You take initiative - this is in your DNA. You do not expect to handheld when it comes to resolving issues. Going above taking the initiative to resolve problems, you take steps to ensure that you identify the problem, resolve it and mitigate future issues. 

This position is not suitable for you if:

1. You are looking for an internship where you can learn stuff via a lecture/tutorial/seminar-style where someone gives you information and you just absorb the information. 

2. You are uncomfortable with uncertainty. If you feel stressed/uncomfortable when you encounter new situations, this is probably not the right fit for you.
