Job Description

About the role:

We are looking for a Backend Engineer Intern who fits into our community, seeking new challenges and experiences in the domain of emerging technologies with great passion to learn in a fast growing company, Hiverlab is for you!

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with team members on backend data development. (NodeJS, Flask, FastAPI based)
  • Develop, Maintain, and Improve on the current backend API.
  • Database Management.
  • Liaise with front-end developers to integrate API.
  • Build tools to manage, automate and monitor our infrastructure resources on Cloud.

Internship Period: Jan 2024 - Jun 2024

Start date: Jan 2024

Duration: Minimum 3 Months, Preferably 6 Months

Minimum education level: University (Preferably Last Year)

About You:

Requirements:

  • Good knowledge on data structure and algorithms and an ability to use them practically when implementing solutions.
  • Experience with cloud services such as AWS, Azure.
  • Experience in developing and maintaining ETL data pipelines.
  • Comfortable with javascript(node.js).
  • Able to use mySQL and MQTT.
  • Proficient in Python, Node.JS.

Good to have

  • Knowledge or experience with building CV or LLM-based apps.
