We are seeking a Product Quality Tester to join us at Hiverlab. You will be performing test duties on the next generation of Immersive Technology mobile applications and cloud platforms.
Why is software testing important?
Software Testing is necessary because we all make mistakes. Some of those mistakes are unimportant, but some of them are expensive or dangerous. We need to check everything and anything we produce because things can always go wrong – humans make mistakes all the time.
Technology companies are starting to realise the importance of testing, and have invested heavily into this area in recent years. By joining Hiverlab’s internship as a Product Quality Tester, you will be part of our pioneer team that plays a very important part in ensuring our products are problem-free.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the product testing - Mobile App and Cloud platform.
- Conduct thorough testing on products to ensure bug-free and user-friendly experiences for the end users; develop proper product documentation pipelines and effectively communicate with respective product managers
- As an internship project, develop a testing framework/workflow/processes and knowledge hub for future interns (fantastic addition to your resume).
- Other ad hoc duties deemed relevant for the product quality assurance.

Requirements
- Diploma/degree in Computer Science, IT or similar.
- Have an interest in software products or testing functions.
- Passionate, hungry to learn, eager to excel. If you are the kind that constantly strives for perfection, WE WANT YOU.
- Flexible and adaptable to changes. You will be part of a pioneer team where processes have not been institutionalised yet. In fact, YOU will be the policy maker. We need someone who is a self starter and knows how to plan out their milestones, unfortunately we can’t accept the “just follow process” mindset because there is nothing to follow!
- Responsible and able to conduct independent research & studies & execute with minimal supervision
