Job Summary:
The Assistant Curator (Intern) collaborates closely with all members of the team, senior management and clients to conceptualise, storyboard, research, copywrite and project manage to ensure successful completion of projects.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
To use content, collected through in-depth research, to guide the project team in developing creative concepts, storylines, graphic and spatial designs, digital installations and online to offline visitors’ engagements to create memorable experiences in experiential spaces, exhibitions and programmes.
Conduct research through open and close sources, academic publications and literature, and when required conduct focus groups and interviews.
Produce high quality and accurate written prose based on research and data collected and to ensure that the written materials are relevant to and well-received by the target audience and meet clients’ objectives.
Manage the entire project including liaising with clients, sponsors, designers, fabricators and other involved parties.
Work with management team to produce in-house materials such as blogs, websites, marketing materials and training materials, etc.
Requirements:
Currently pursuing or completed Degree/Diploma preferably in Mass Communications, Marketing, Film, Literature or Digital Media with at least some experience curating content for social media or any other channel.
Enjoys creative works, loves reading and researching, has excellent technical writing skills and a good eye for bespoke space and graphic design and possess an interest in latest technologies.
Possess a serious work ethic, passionate about visitors’ experiences and has a deep sense of curiosity about everything!
Candidates should be prepared to provide a portfolio of samples demonstrating previous work experiences and creative ability.
