Job Description

HomeAway Asia is looking for a highly motivated Product Manager Intern to help advance their product offerings through creating engaging experiences for users and potential users.The Intern will work in close collaboration with a team of talented Engineers, to guide products from conception to launch. If you have a bias for action and can break down complex problems into steps that drive product development, this might be the internship for you!

Your Task

  • Working in synergy with the Engineering team to build and launch innovative, game-changing features
  • Documenting and managing product features to help team collaboration and communication
  • Understanding and analysing user needs to provide insight into improving the HomeAway experience for users
  • Help to define a product vision and strategy

Requirements

You are a self-motivated, curious and eager to learn. You should be a team player and feel comfortable working with people across various disciplines and be able to effectively communicate with engineers and non-engineers.

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Computer Science or a related field, preferably in your final year
  • Knowledge of Software Engineering, Networking Engineering and/or Data Centre Operations, Systems, or Networking experience a plus
  • Working knowledge of Project and Program Management skills and Project Management tools
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including relationship building and collaboration within a diverse, cross- functional team
  • Strong organisational and analytical skills
  • Strong technical abilities
  • A deep interest in creating and analysing products.
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills.
  • Candidates must be based in Singapore
  • Candidates who can start in Dec/Jan and are able to commit for 2 to 6 months
