We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Manager to lead the development and growth of our renovation fintech escrow payment platform called HomePay. The platform primarily focuses on facilitating secure and efficient transactions between homeowners, interior designers, and other stakeholders in the renovation industry. The main product is a mobile app that ensures seamless payment processes, milestone tracking, and transparency throughout the renovation lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Strategy & Vision:
1. Learn to develop and articulate a clear product vision and strategy that aligns with the company’s overall goals and market opportunities.
2. Learn to identify and prioritize key features and functionalities that address user pain points and drive customer satisfaction.
3. Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to ensure the product remains competitive.
Product Development:
1. Learn to lead the product development process, from concept to launch, ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality features.
2. Learn to collaborate with engineering and design teams to define product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
3. Learn to manage the product backlog, prioritize tasks, and make informed trade-offs based on user feedback, business impact, and technical constraints.
User Experience & Customer Insights:
1. Learn to gather and analyze user feedback, market research, and data analytics to inform product decisions and improve user experience.
2. Learn to conduct usability testing and A/B testing to validate assumptions and optimize product performance.
3. Learn to advocate for the customer throughout the product development process, ensuring that the end product meets their needs and expectations.
Stakeholder Management:
1. Communicate product plans, progress, and results to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
2. Work closely with marketing and sales teams to develop go-to-market strategies and support product launches.
3. Build strong relationships with external partners, such as contractors, financial institutions, and regulatory bodies, to enhance the product offering.
Performance Monitoring & Continuous Improvement:
1. Learn to define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track product success and inform future development.
2. If possible, identify opportunities for product optimization and growth through data-driven analysis.
3. Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the product team, encouraging experimentation and innovation.
Required Qualifications:
Education:
1. Currently pursuing or graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Business, Design, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience:
1. Learn to experience working with cross-functional teams and managing multiple stakeholders.
2. Learn to be familiar with agile methodologies and product management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello).
