HomePay is renovation escrow payment app that aims to make renovations safer for homeowners while also guaranteeing payments for interior design firms.
Our wallet system is MAS-approved as we partner with a licensed major payment institution. All funds that homeowners top up are held securely in a DBS custodian account.
Renovation nightmares and scam stories come up in the news quite often and renovation remains one of the top complaint industries in Singapore, largely due to the fact that it's unregulated. Our main goal is to bridge this gap and ensure homeowners are protected at every step of the way. In the last 8 months of operations since our launch, we have facilitated over a hundred renovation projects and millions worth of dollars in transactions and best of all, 0 cases of disputes between homeowners and ID firms. Some of our industry partners include EZiD, Excel Hardware, Repair.SG, and most recently, ERA Singapore and their agents.
Job Description & Responsibilities
* Training is provided on the job to get you up to speed on our operational flows, systems and app knowledge
* You will learn skills on managing key stakeholders of HomePay - including interior design firms and homeowners and conduct cold calls
* Sit in on presentations, trainings, demonstrations, and general information on HomePay solutions
* Keep close tabs on the status of prospects, detailing their needs, tracking discussions, and intelligently following up
* Increase size of opportunities and overall pipeline for sales
Your Knowledge
* Renovation knowledge is good to have but not compulsory - we will train you on the job
• Prior BD or sales/operations internship experience or undergoing a degree in business in any relevant discipline.
* Proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
* Strong research, analytical and quantitative abilities with excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Strong passion to work in a startup business environment and working/communicating with people
* Strong team player, open-minded, enthusiastic and eager to learn
* Candidate must possess at least Professional Certificate/NITEC, Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma
* Preferably Entry Level specialized in Sales - Retail/General or equivalent.

Skills
* Proficient and efficient working with tools like Google Drive, Sheets, etc.
* Fast learner, systematic, results-driven and people-oriented who enjoy dynamic work environments and building relationships
* Good verbal and written communication skills and organisational skills
* Fluent in English. Knowledge of additional languages is an advantage
