We are seeking a motivated Backend Developer Intern to join our dynamic tech team. The intern will have the opportunity to work closely with experienced developers and gain hands-on experience in building and maintaining server-side logic, database management, and API integration. This internship is designed to provide real-world experience in backend development and contribute to meaningful projects.
Minimum Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of backend programming languages such as Python.
- Familiarity with SQL database systems and database management.
- Knowledge of API design and development.
- Basic understanding of version control systems like Git.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the development, testing, and maintenance of server-side logic and APIs.
- Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Work with databases, manage data storage solutions, and ensure high performance and responsiveness to requests.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving code quality and best practices.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software.
