Main Purpose of Job
The Market Research Intern will be primarily responsible to conduct market research and analysis through interviews and surveys to provide market information to management to achieve the company's marketing goals and objectives.
Responsibilities
Prospect for targeted groups of respondents to initiate interviews/surveys from multiple relevant sources.
Execute customer research to better understand customers, and establish marketing insight for the development of marketing strategy. This will include customer segmentation, targeting and positioning and customer satisfaction research.
Responsible for interpreting data, formulating reports and making recommendations based upon research findings. Convert data and findings into understandable tables, graphs, and written reports.
Design or assist in the development of questionnaires to ensure necessary data is captured.
Conduct interviews/Surveys with the following:
->Conducting face-to-face or phone interviews to collect data
->Guiding respondents through questionnaires
->Follow through with respondents to ensure completion of the 3 parts questionnaires within the stipulated timeline.
Assist with preparation or collation of Marketing reports whenever required.
Requirements

Strong analytical mind, accurate and clear in data or report presentation.
Meticulous and pays attention to details to ensure minimum errors in work.
Detailed, well-organized and able to multi-task and manage multiple projects at the same time, prioritizing required actions accordingly to meet required deadlines.

Knowledge and Experience Required
Minimum 3 months experience in market research, conducting surveys, interviews including competitive analysis, consumer behaviour analysis, customer segmentation and targeting.
Excellent skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
