I-Access Solutions – Project Manager

The role is to assist the Project Director to plan, execute and deliver projects within the triple constraints of scope, time and budget. This involves managing some or all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle.

Responsibilities: 

• Direct and manage project development from beginning to end
• Actively involved in the day-to-day project management.
• Able to make formal presentations to the Project Management Office and the Project Steering Committee.
• Develop and deliver progress reports, contract variation and functional specification documentation.
• Develop and build deeper business relationship with our clients that are critical to the success of the project and potentially lead to other business opportunities.
• Effectively communicate and manage the project expectations to both team members and client appointed team members.
• Delegate tasks and responsibilities to the team members and actively track their daily assigned tasks vs actual tasks completed and to escalate to Project Director on reasons for any delays or potential project risks leading to delays.
• Motivate and supervise project team members and influence them to take ownership and accountability for their assigned tasks.
• Able to plan and estimate the necessary resources needed to achieve project objectives within targeted timeline.
• Able to identify variations to the initial project scope of work and prepare billable contract variations
• Develop best practices and tools for project management.

Requirements:

• Degree in Information Technology/Computer Science/Computer Engineering
• Min 3 years experience IT project management. I.e. Handle past projects related to training and education industry will be an advantage.
• Experience in VB.Net, ASP.net, ADO.Net, .NET Platform Tools, COM+, N-Tier Architecture, Object Oriented Methodology, Microsoft SQL Server, Relational Database Design & Development
• Familiar with HTML, XML, XSL, XSLT and XPATH
• Ability to bring project to successful completion .
• Strong written and oral communication skills and able to conduct formal presentations
• Strong interpersonal skills and a team player
