I Am Not David Lee is a self-taught Singapore-based contemporary artist whose work revolves around the artist daily observations as well as his interest in Do-it-Yourself projects.
The artist prefers to stay behind the scene (limelight) and focus on his creation. Since then, the artist’s work- whether installations, collaborations or commissioned works has been centred on understanding the world around us and how our actions are interdependent on each other.
Retail Assistant (Art Exhibition)
We are seeking a dynamic, energetic retail assistant to join us for 2 months. In this position, you will play a key role in providing stellar customer service experiences on a daily basis. You must be organized, detail-oriented, and knowledgeable of our products with an engaging, upbeat personality.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Greet customers and make them feel welcome
- Maintain a clean, organized, and comfortable retail environment
- Be attentive to customers, providing answers to any questions pertaining to the artwork
- Make recommendations to customers
- Assist shoppers with merchandise
- Ensure a good fit for the customer and the artwork
- Restock artwork/products that are running low and maintain proper display appearances
- Assist with inventory counts and placement of new artwork, including new in-store or window displays
- Handle customer complaints and concerns calmly; find a reasonable solution
- Ensure customers are well-informed on any current sales, rewards programs, and store return policy
- Process payment, delivery or shipping orders
Requirements and Qualifications
- Previous retail experience in department store a major plus
- Thrives working in a department store environment
- Physically fit, able to work long hours on one’s feet
- Available to work on public holidays and weekends
- Must be a fast learner and able to think quickly on one’s feet
- Excellent customer service and strong interpersonal skills
