A Singapore based contemporary art studio that constantly challenge the conventional notion and definition of the art and design by constantly blurring the boundaries between both, mixing Neo Pop Art ideology with Post-Modernist design sensibilities. The studio's multi-disciplinary approach focused on experimenting with new approaches to visual expressions. 

IANDL  works are featured in many international publications and awarded in various design award shows. One of their artworks titled ‘Ugly Ducting’ won a gold in the prestigues Internation Design Awards. The work also won an Innovation Award at the SIT Furniture Award in 2023.

The studio have exhibited extensively around the world. They launched their solo artist exhibition, ‘Four Letter Work’ at Takashimaya in 2022. The artist represented Singapore at the Milan Design Week in 2024 with his experimental work 'Monolith'.

Job Description

The Art Assistant (project) is responsible for assisting the Artist in managing and prep work for an art installtion at the coming Singapore Art Week 2025. He or she will ensure that all projects are completed efficiently and within the given timeframe.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Artist in sourcing, managing of the various components required for the installation. 
  • Assist in the creation of drawings, plans, storyboards, sketches, and prototypes
  • Prepare and file all project documents, including contracts, invoices, and purchase orders for submission
  • Perform research on the installtion
  • Assist in managing and meeting the various stakeholders and suppliers for the project and suggest potential improvements
  • Communicate with vendors, contractors, and other relevant parties as needed
  • Ensure all artwork produced adheres to studio guidelines and standards
  • Perform other duties as necessary and assigned by the Artist

Skills and Qualifications

  • Interest in Art and Design is key selection criteria
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
  • Experience in managing projects and working with people 
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
