Job Description

The Business Development Internship is designed to provide university students with hands-on experience in business development with a focus on recruitment strategies. Interns will work closely with the Business Development Team to support the growth of the wealth management team, contributing fresh ideas and innovative approaches to recruitment and team development.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Recruitment Strategy Support:

    • Assist in developing and implementing creative strategies to attract and recruit commission-based sales agents.
    • Conduct research on best practices in recruitment, particularly within the financial services industry.
    • Help identify and engage with potential candidates through social media, university career fairs, and other channels.
  2. Marketing & Outreach:

    • Collaborate with the marketing team to create targeted recruitment campaigns aimed at university graduates and young professionals.
    • Assist in organizing and participating in recruitment events, such as career fairs, webinars, and networking sessions.
  3. Data Analysis & Reporting:

    • Analyze recruitment data and trends to provide insights and recommendations for improving recruitment processes.
    • Prepare reports on recruitment efforts and outcomes to assist the Business Development Manager in decision-making.
  4. Team Collaboration:

    • Work alongside the Business Development Manager and other team members on special projects aimed at expanding the sales force.
    • Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate new ideas for talent acquisition and retention.
  5. Learning & Development:

    • Gain exposure to the financial advisory industry and understand the dynamics of growing wealth management team.
    • Receive mentorship and guidance from experienced professionals within the firm.

Qualifications:

  • Current university student or recent graduate, preferably studying Business, Marketing, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in recruitment, sales, and business development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to propose new ideas and solutions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and social media platforms.
