About the job

Reporting to the HR manager, you will be supporting the full suite of HR activities to support the store’s ambition in making IKEA Tampines a great place to work. You will help to drive our people initiatives, provide great co-worker support, and drive HR functional excellence and continuous process improvement.

Your assignment

  • Promote and safeguard the IKEA culture by being a role model who expresses the IKEA values in all HR operational matters.
  • Support recruitment activities including recruitment events, applicant screening and shortlisting, and co-ordination of interviews, etc.
  • Support new hire onboarding process including issuance of staff items and coordination of onboarding sessions.
  • Support learning and development-related activities including onboarding training.
  • Support in setting up and maintenance of employee p-files documents etc.
  • Support HR improvement projects and new initiatives
  • Any other duties which may be assigned from time to time.

Your profile

  • You are studying or have an educational qualification in Human Resources Management.
  • You have excellent interpersonal skills and are confident in approaching and interacting with people from all levels, which includes managing conflict.
  • You take initiative and you are proactive in your tasks and responsibilities.
  • You are a committed and strong team player who is also able to work independently.
  • You have high integrity and are meticulous in your work.
  • You are able to support HR operations during the weekend and public holidays as needed.
  • You are able to support business operations during peak periods.
