Today, the group owns two major brands: IKEDA SPA, Singapore's first Japanese Spa and IRÉN SKIN, clean beauty skincare made in Japan. We work with retail partners in Europe (France, UK, Italy, Spain, Netherlands and counting) and in Singapore, such as Takashimaya Orchard, BHG Bugis Junction, Metro Paragon, to name a few.
We are looking for a Supply Chain Intern to manage the company's supply of products and services. Supply Chain Intern responsibilities include strategizing to find cost-effective deals and suppliers. The Procurement Specialist's duty is to discover the best ways to cut production and logistics expenses, so that the company can invest in growth and people.
JOB DUTIES
Source for production local and overseas vendors (i.e. manufacturers, printers, etc.)
Liaise with local and overseas vendors on production projects to ensure qualities and requirements are met
Forecast demand, inventory trends to meet operational needs and minimize surplus and wastage
Working closely with key stakeholders to ensure the project is completed on time
Expediting materials from suppliers and ensure on-time delivery and logistics
Sourcing for freight forwarders and comparing quotations
Plan and manage production budget
Manage and maintain PO/Invoices
Liaise with Accounts Department on payment matters
Assist in project costing reports
Organize, monitor and maintains warehouse inventory levels in all countries
Coordinate timely worldwide product registration, maintenance of licenses and regulatory affairs
Fulfilment of e-commerce orders
Inventory tracking for products and supplies to ensure stocks are sufficient and replenished in all stockists
Purchase stocks and supplies for office and outlets
Packing and transfer of stocks to respective outlets when required
Provide overall support to business
Other ad hoc duties assigned
JOB REQUIREMENTS
At least pursuing a Diploma in Supply Chain or equivalent
Able to speak and write Mandarin as need to liaise with overseas suppliers in China
Possess good communication and negotiation skills
