Iki Concepts is a food and beverage company which owns and operates 4 brands in Singapore:
- YOSHI Restaurant, a kappo style kaiseki restaurant
- The Horse’s Mouth, an underground bar featuring tasty tipples and bites.
- Uma Uma Ramen, a Hakata style fast-casual ramen restaurant
- Nozomi, a newly opened casual Japanese Restaurant
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Sous Chef by chopping vegetables and washing food items.
- Ensure kitchen equipment and appliances are cleaned and ready for use.
- Maintain a clean and hygienic work environment at all times. General kitchen duties including washing, cleaning and clearing.
- Ensure food is stored away properly when not in use.
- Date and label all food before storing them in the chiller or freezer.
- Ensure food is stored in a correct temperature and records are up to date.
- Cook all dishes on the menu and to ensure food prepared is consistent and of superior quality.
- Any other tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
- Has experience in Japanese cuisine will be advantageous.
- Has experience working as a prep cook in a fast-paced environment
- Shown willingness to learn.
- A positive attitude team player
- Able to follow instructions accurately and efficiently
- Familiar with general kitchen equipment and appliances
- Good understanding of ingredients, recipes, kitchen safety and hygiene
- Able to perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Physically able to stand and move around for long periods of time

Location:
1. Orchard Road, Forum the Shopping Mall (Uma Uma Ramen Restaurant)
2. Raffles Boulevard, Millenia Walk (Nozomi Restaurant)
Salary: Part-time rate from $10/hr to $12/hr (based on experience)
Working days: Able to commit 4 days per week (including one day Saturday or Sunday), 8 hours per day (excluding 2 hours break time). Meal will be provided.
