Marketing and Business Development Intern (ORD / Pre-Uni Students Preferred)
The Role:
We need a few Marketing and Business Development Associates (intern / part-timer) to help the founders to offload some of the tasks in these two verticals and grow the startup together. Prior experience is not needed, the founders will expose you to the operations of a lean start-up. You will work with fellow associates and the founders in creating and maintaining our marketing efforts, as well as developing the business through acquiring users, merchants, strategic partners, and maintaining relationships. Your key responsibilities include:
Marketing:
Create our social media platforms for TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Linkedin
Build and execute a marketing plan for all platforms with clear and measurable goals
Creating, editing, and writing social media content and content for website blog
Build email marketing system and create content for email notifications
Gathering marketing data and trends for platforms and campaigns
Business Development:
Approach customers by various outreach strategies and achieve sales metrics
Approach merchants (undergraduates) by various outreach strategies for our database
Identify, approach, create, and manage strategic partners and potential B2B customers
Brainstorm, plan, and execute external events and workshops for customer acquisition
Develop new campaigns to drive signups and transactions
Create surveys and analyse results to determine business improvements

Our Ideal Candidate:
Available for part-time arrangement of 16 hours a week, flexible arrangement of hours
Able to commit at least 3 months, preferably 6 months and above
Remote, work from home arrangement
Passion with startups and addressing educational inequality
Prior experience is not needed, but experience in marketing and e-commerce is good
Pre-Uni A-Levels / Poly candidates preferred
