Responsible for contributing to the conversion of Audience Prospects into monetised audiences; seeking to convert a qualified audience prospect to a delegate to a Physical, Virtual or Hybrid event, to a lead for Marketing Services, a student to Training, equally for retention/renewal, retaining paid customers and attendees.
Areas of Responsibility & Accountability
- Implement and execute marketing campaigns that encourage audience Prospects to walk through the buying cycle from awareness to interest, desire and ultimately (e-commerce) action (and Advocacy). (Physical, Virtual & Hybrid Events)
- Includes email marketing, organic social media postings, content creation (e.g. blog posts, short videos), managing sponsorship recruitment and partnership commitments, managing event logistics (e.g. registrations).
- Reporting on campaign results
- SEO & SEM experience a plus
Best practice/measuring performance/innovation & product development
- Contribute to best practice marketing environment, driving efficiency and effectiveness. Utilise the Marketing Excellence tools and approach. Driving for continuous improvement.
- Maximises usage of Informa systems and processes, adopting a best practice and facilitating developments in line with internal and external requirements
- Contributes to reporting processes and providing weekly KPI reporting.
- Collaborates with colleagues within the Market Pillar and beyond with a customer first focus
Qualifications
- Prior proven Marketing experience an advantage as is the ability to contribute towards and support the conversion of audience prospects into monetized audience.
- Able to build and maintain relationships and understanding customer needs.
- Competent in managing stakeholders internally and externally
- Strong collaboration and communication skills written, verbal, and presentation
- Prior experience of managing project activity, ability to prioritise and manage time efficiently.
- Self-starter approach to work, with an eagerness to consistently meet and exceed objectives and assume greater responsibility.
- Attention to detail and organisational skills
- Can-do attitude and adaptability to work in a fast-paced environment
