As an Art Intern, you will be an integral part of our creative team, supporting daily operations, assisting classes, and contributing to our community-building efforts. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in dynamic studio setting and develop your skills in various art forms.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist instructors during Wheel Throwing, Hand Building, Pottery Painting, and Glass Painting classes.
- Help with the preparation and setup of materials and equipment for classes and workshops.
- Engage with studio visitors and provide information about our classes and offerings.
- Support the creation and maintenance of studio displays and exhibitions.
- Perform general studio maintenance and organization tasks as needed.
- Contribute to daily administrative tasks and studio upkeep.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR:
- Candidates who are currently enrolled in Fine Arts, Product Design, Animation and Visual Effects, or any other relevant courses
- Passionate and interested in learning visual arts, ceramics and painting.
- Good communication skills and enjoy interacting with customers;
- A team player, proactive and eager to learn;
- Willing to work weekends and public holidays;
- A minimum commitment period of 3 to 6 months is required.
