Job Description

THE JOB:

  • Assist in regular and one-day workshop facilitation
  • Prepare the studio before and after workshops
  • Assist artist(s) with workshops when required
  • Maintain the daily operations of the space, including engaging with visitors, facilitating art sales, and routine facility maintenance

As part of the internship program, the Intern will also learn and get hands-on experience in different art crafts, such as ceramic and pottery making, and other interesting crafts making. It will be a value-added experience where the Intern can include in their portfolio.

 

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • Candidates who are currently enrolled in an art-related tertiary institution, or with at least a diploma or degree in art-related qualifications;
  • Punctual and responsible individual with a passion for art;
  • Experience with pottery or ceramics is a plus but not mandatory;
  • Must have basic knowledge in wheel throwing
  • A minimum commitment period of 6 months is required;
